It's Official!!!!
Devin is WALKING! After teasing us over Christmas break, he has decided to pick it back up and is now everywhere. He started 2 days ago, on the 8th, so he wasn't officially 14 months yet! (He turned 14 months on the 9th). Does that mean I can say he started walking at 13 months? :) just kidding. It wasn't until this evening that he really started doing it without occasionally using furniture for support. It's just bad news when he falls, because he is not capable of getting back up again...but we'll work on that! Here is a video of him traversing the largest area of our tiny apartment!!! Yay Devin!

Yay!!!!! Congrats. He looks so cute walking. Lots of people told me walking would be horrible because they can get into everything...but I did NOT agree. Weston was SO much happier once he could get where he wanted to go...and I'm sure Devin will be the same way! Pretty soon he'll be running everywhere. How fun! Thanks for the comment on the scratch. haha Jeff (and later Amy) said he'll look like Harry Potter. I thought you would approve. :P

YAY!!! If it makes you feel any better, Tate didn't start walking until well into his 15th month, so no worries! Devin sure doesn't look like a kid who just started walking, though! He's good!
I am so happy for him (&you)!! I must say he is doing great, having seen it for myself in person. Congrats!
Yay for Devin!! He's such a cutie, and I'm sure he's much happier now--unless of course he falls down. :)

April-- my friend told me about their little 18 month old girl and I have to tell you what she said--their little girl will not keep her diaper on! She never fails to take her pants off, and then her diaper. So after a lot of messes around the house they are finally duct taping the diaper on and she never even tries anymore to take it off. I don't know if Devin still takes his off, but maybe that will help! :) You can see the picture here; crazygoodlife.blogspot.com. So funny!
Woo- Hoo!! Way to go Devin!! Don't worry about him walking at 14 months. I was so worried about Carter developmentally and now I am so amazed at how fast he is learning. Everyone learns at a different speed.
APRIL.. it is Tessa! Kris sent me an email saying she started a blog and well after reading I figured it out that YOU DID!! Thank you so much! I am still trying to figure this thing out too. Kris and I are a little slow.. :-) Your son is so adorable!
